LocalACPL: Nasir Lone's hundred hands Bijbehara Royals a big win

A fabulous unbeaten 118 runs by Nasir Lone on Sunday handed Bijbehara Royals a big win against Dachnipora Patriots in the ongoing Anantnag Cricket Premier League.

Dachnipora after batting first put on a massive show with its batsmen hitting bowlers all-around the park. However, Syed Sagar of Royals then came to the rescue, scalping 3 crucial wickets. The Partoits lastly set a mammoth total of 217 runs on the board.

Bijbehara Royals, in reply, got off to a flying start with opener, Ishtiyaq Robby making most of the small boundaries. The tall lad scored a fiery fifty before going back to the pavilion.

Thereafter, it was the time for Nasir Lone to turn the tables. The right-handed batsman having already smashed a couple of fifties in the tournament played a scintillating knock yet again.

He didn’t give away any opportunity to score runs and finished up making unbeaten 118 runs. His heroics helped Royals chase down the total with ease at the end.

Nasir later grabbed the man of the match, most sixes and award for centurion.
