After Owaish Shah’s 71 run fiery knock helped J&K score 205 runs in second inning to set a target of 221 runs for Haryana to win, Irfan Pathan rattled hosts top order by taking four wickets as they ended second days play on 49/4 at Lahli.

It was old Pathan at display with venomous swing back in his arsenal as the J&K mentor cum player rattled Haryana top order. His four back to back strikes have left Haryana inning tattering on 49/4 , still in need of the 173 runs to win with six wickets in hand. Pathan bowled, 7 overs, in which he has given 10 runs and bowled three maidens. He is the only wicket taker for JK in this inning so far. The match is still evenly poised with two full days of play. Though the outcome is likely to be decided in second session of third day even if Haryana makes a goes well from this point.

Earlier the days play started with Haryana resuming from overnight total of 129/5 in chase of JK’s first inning total of 161. They were bundled out for 145 with Umar Nazir taking five wicket haul while as Mohammad Mudhasir  four wickets.

In its second inning , JK charge was lead by a counter attack from Owais Shah who scored 71 runs off 76 balls. After getting two early blows, Shah came into crease taking attack to Haryana. He smashed 37 run fifty and then went on to score 71 run knock in which he hit two sixes and six boundaries. JK got all out for 205 run total with Parvez contributing with 30 runs and Obaid Haroon 20.
