Owais Shah and Waseem Raza were at their best as they helped their sides Elegant Strikers Soura and Rising Star Paller to storm into the semifinal of the Aga Syed Mehdi Memorial cricket tournament.
Rising Star Paller defeated Srinagar Gymkhana. Batting first Gymkhana scored 92/10 in 18 overs. In reply Rising Star achieved required target in 14 overs for 3-wickets.
Waseem Raza for his four wickets and 20 runs was adjudged as man of the match.
In the second match, Elegant Strikers Soura defeated JCC Magam. Batting first Strikers scored 189 runs for the loss of nine wickets. In reply JCC Magam were bundled out for 115 runs in 17th over. Owais Shah for his knock of 34 runs and taking two wickets was adjudged man of the match.
