Srinagar, April 21 (Wednesday): Amid rising number of COVID19 cases in J&K and Country, Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) has announced that it is suspending its all football activities in J&K UT.
JKFA announced this by posting a statement on its official Facebook page on Wednesday .
“Jammu & Kashmir Football Association has decided to suspend all Football related activities in the UT keeping in view the surge in Covide-19 case across the Country. All the programmes of JKFA stand postponed till the situation improves,” JKFA post reads.
In the same statement JKFA has asked all the clubs , teams to follow all COVID19 protocols .
“All the Football Clubs/Teams of the UT are requested to strictly adhere to the SOP’s laid down by the Govt. for Covid-19 pandemic,” JKFA said.
Jammu and Kashmir UT on Wednesday registered 2204 new positive cases . 905 from Jammu Division and 1299 from Kashmir Division.13 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 10 from Jammu Division and 03 from Kashmir Division.
