Srinagar, 21 August : Pakistan all format skipper Babar Azam has said that he is really working hard to improve his red-ball game.
Babar Azam said this in video posted by Pakistan Cricket Board after end of first day’s play in second Pakistan-West Indies Test in Jamaica.
Babar Azam was involved in a rescue partnership with Fawad Alam as the duo pulled things back significantly after a horrible start by the top-order.
Kemar Roach had sent back Abid Ali and Azhar Ali in quick succession before Imran Butt edged to the keeper off Jayden Seales.
Babar scored 75 before receiving a good length delivery from Roach and nicking it to Jason Holder who took a brilliant low catch in the slips.
“I have been working really hard on my red-ball game. There were a few things in my technique that needed to be addressed. We got some spare time to work on our red-ball skills and we’ve tried to utilise it. I tried to apply myself on the crease today and Alhamdulillah, results are in front of you,” Babar said in a video posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board after the end of day one of second Test
