Pakistan Cricket team batting mainstay Babar Azam has said that he wants to be and wants to be the match winner for his team and it has been his dream all the way.

Talking to ICC official before the important game against South Africa at Lords , Babar Azam has said that the star he wears on his chest is the thing that he has wanted all his life and he is proud of it.

“This Star, I feel proud wearing, I can’t explain the feeling the moment I started to wear it. From childhood I had dream to see me wearing this shirt and I was dream come true when I finally did it,” Babar said.

The Pakistan youngster at the age of 24, has scored 5384 international runs at 46.81, but he’s eager to take his game up to another level.

“I always want myself to perform well so that people will say Babar Azam is also a player. There are players like David Warner, Jos Butler, Jason Roy and Eoin Morgan who are match winners for their team. I want to be a match winner but I have different style then them. I take time in the middle and my strike is between 100 and 80. My aim always is to stay there still the end for my team,” Babar said.

Pakistan will be playing South Africa in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 match at Lords on Sunday and Azam says it always dream of cricketer to play at home of cricket.

“Dream to play at home of cricket0Lords. Have seen great cricketers come here walk out of the dressing room and balcony. It is amazing feeling and would be again great to see me their,” he added.
