Srinagar, October 18: Former International player turned now water-sport coach Bilquis Mir on Saturday held meeting with Kashmir University Vice Chancellor Professor Talat Ahmad to discuss revival of water sports in Kashmir University.
This was disclosed by Bilquis herself on her Facebook page.
“I had meeting with Vice Chancellor Kashmir University Prof Talat Ahmad . The VC was very keen to promote water sports in big way. University students are in right age group to produce results when provided with professional, technical coaching and with the right equipment, ” Bilquis posted.
“From our side I assured VC Kashmir University our full support in providing equipment and full technical and profesional coaching inputs, ” She said.
“I am very sure with a one year Kashmir University team will be at the top in Inter-University championship. We have the required potential and motivation to excel, ” She added.
