I-League organizers have called off upcoming football match between Real Kashmir and East Bengal due to the snowfall and the accumulation of Snow at TRC Turf Stadium.
Real was scheduled to take on East Bengal in its next I-League match o January 10. East Bengal was scheduled to arrive in Srinagar on Saturday. However, seeing the situation match commissioner has decided to call of the game. The next date for the game has not been released yet.
“There is around six inch snow accumulation on the field plus the situation across Kashmir due to the weather conditions has been grave. It is not the perfect time to have such high profile game,” said official.
