One of the biggest ever Mixed Martial Art star, Brock Lesnar recently shocked World as reports emerged that he has retired from UFC.

The revelation was made by none other than UFC boss Dana White himself in an interview to ESPN.

The UFC President Dana White while confirming the development to ESPN said that the proposed UFC return of Brock Lesnar has been cancelled, with former heavyweight champion now a retired fighter.

Lesnar, 41, had been expected to return to the Octagon this summer against current UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier.

Now as the details are emerging it is being reported that Lesnar wanted guaranteed amount from the UFC for the fight.

As per reports in his latest on Wrestling Observer Newslette, Dave Meltzer’s has indicated that money played a major factor. The sticking point? With UFC PPVs now exclusive to ESPN+ in the United States, Lesnar apparently wanted to negotiate a flat fee which the UFC ended up not agreeing to. “Lesnar had a certain price he wanted guaranteed to do the Cormier fight. UFC, which, with its ESPN deal where the PPV money is guaranteed, didn’t meet the offer. Lesnar had a certain price he wanted that was worth it to him to go through a hard training camp at 42 and then get into the cage with an all-time great fighter and athlete in Cormier. Plus, WWE has continued to offer Lesnar strong deals for limited dates, and on a Lesnar schedule, pro wrestling is far safer and offers considerably more longevity,” reports said
