Srinagar: Chief Minister,Mehbooba Mufti has hailed the efforts and dedication of International water sports coach of state, Bilquis Mir.
Chief Minister praised the water sports coach Bilquis Mir on the sidelines of water sports function held on Sunday at Char Chinar Island, Dal Lake. Chief Minister also on the occasion
felicitated the Water Sports players who recently bagged medals in National dragon boat and Canoe polo championship held at Udaipur.
While praising, Bilquis, Chief Minister said, “In water sports our State players are doing great job at nation al level. They have won number of medals in this sport recently and lot of that credit goes to Bilquis”.
Bilquis is a decorated water sports coach of Kashmir and has been working hard to upgrade the ailing water sports infrastructure. Recently sports council procured new equipment for its water sports centre in Nehru Park.
