Srinagar, March 22: Former J&K captain Samiullah Beigh Saturday urged sportspersons of Kashmir to stay indoors amid coronavirus outbreak.
Expressing grief over players hitting grounds amid curfew, one of the ace ex-cricketers of J&K said,
“Tragic 😥 and heartbroken 💔to see sports lovers risking the lives of their families and all of us.”
“A true sportsman can neither be ignorant nor arrogant.”
Beigh further advised cricketers to stay home and wait for the conditions to improve.
“Cricket is just a sport. Never trade it for precious lives. Time will come, we will play again inshaAllah. For now plz stay home🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏” Samiullah said.
Coronavirus, declared pandemic by World Health Organisation, has shaken the whole world with number of cases increasing every passing day. The authorities across have issued advisories, asking people to stay indoors to stop the spread of this deadly virus.
