Portuguese and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo on Thursday took to social media with the noble of message helping refugees from the Rohingya conflict area in Myanmar.ronaldo

Through his twitter and Instagram accounts, the 33-year-old football sensation shared a picture of a father and child at a health clinic run by the charity in a refugee camp in Bangladesh and a photo of himself with his four children with the below caption.
“One world where we all love our children. Please help. #Rohingya #Refugee,” followed by the link to www.savethechildren.org/Cristiano.
Since violence erupted across Rakhine State, Myanmar, on 25 August 2017, some 656,000 refugees have poured across the border between Myanmar and Bangladesh. An estimated 564,000 people are in urgent need of nutrition services. Among them, 16,695 children under 59 months of age need treatment for severe acute malnutrition – a life-threatening condition.

Ronaldo, one of world’s richest athletes, is also actively involved in various charity works. He is an ambassador Save the Children, Unicef and World Vision and 2015 was topped the list of most charitable sports stars. In 2011, Ronaldo sold his European golden boot trophy for £1.2million at an auction for raising funds towards building schools in war-torn Gaza. In 2013. He sold his 2013 Ballon d’Or trophy at a charity auction for children with life-threatening and terminally-ill children.
