LocalCRPF Tourney: Kothibagh beat DPS girls, SP School beat Kashmir FC in final

Srinagar: Girls Higher Secondary Kothibagh and SP School emerged winner of the Oorja U-19 CRPF football tournament defeating DPS Srinagar and Kashmir FC in the final plated at Bakshi Stadium, here on Saturday.

In the girls’ final, Govt Girls H.S. School, Kothibagh, Srinagar defeated D.P.S. Srinagar by 2-1 and in the boys’ final, SP High School Srinagar defeated Kashmir F.C. by  5-4 in sudden death.winner

Imran Raza Ansari, Minister for IT, Tech Edu. And Youth Services & Sports, who was the chief guest of today’s  ceremony gave away the trophies to the winning, runners up, third place teams and the best players of the tournament.  Prize money of Rupees  One Lakh each to the winner teams, Rupees Seventy Five Thousand each to the runners ups and Rupees Fifty Thousand each to the third place teams was also given.

RD Sahi, IG CRPF Srinagar Sector welcomed the guests and Dr. Sanjay Sharma, DIG CRPF Srinagar South Range gave the vote of thanks.

Dr. S.P. Vaid, DGP JKP declared the tournament closed.
