In the match CSK beat Rajasthan on a last ball finish but before that last over had scene plenty of drama and prominent being Dhoni storming into middle of the ground to confront umpires over no ball controversy.

Former Team India skipper has already been charged by match commissioner and has been fined 50% of match fee. On social media Dhoni is being hammered by the netizens for losing cool and un-sportsmanship behavior.

However the former Kiwi legend who is CSK coach Stephen Fleming has come to the rescue of the Dhoni saying that there was confusion and Dhoni went on to get clarification on that.

“We saw a no-ball being called by the umpire at the bowlers’ end … and then there was confusion if it was a no-ball or not,” Stephen Fleming was quoted as saying.

“Dhoni asked for some clarity, which didn’t seem to be coming. He took the opportunity to discuss with the umpires,” he was quoted further.

He said Dhoni had been fired up by the incident, but paid tribute to the man who won his 100th match in the IPL as captain.

“Hundred wins is great,” he said. “Dhoni as captain is very successful. Dhoni as a player is outstanding. Both those things are closely related. He played incredibly well today.”
