The Pakistan cricket team leg spin all-rounder Shadab Khan who was diagnosed by virus and was ruled out of teams Pre-World Cup series against England has been cleared by the Doctors.
Shadab Khan who was checked by doctors in London has been by Doctors and will be available for Pakistan in World Cup.
“Shadab Khan has been given the all-clear from the doctors and will be fit to play at the World Cup,” a tweet by Pakistan sports journalist Sajad Sadiq said.
Earlier A virus revealed in blood sample had ruled out Shadab Khan from the upcoming England series and he was replaced by senior leggie Yasir Shah in the team.
“Unfortunately it’s not good news. We had a blood test done for Shadab and he has a virus. I’ve spoken to doctors who have advised 4 weeks of rest. Hopefully in 4 weeks he will be better and will be able to play cricket,” Pakistan cricket team chief selector Inzimam ul Haq was quoted at that time.
The Pakistan is currently in England as they are scheduled to play a five match one-day series against the number one ranked home team, starting May 5.
PCB had called in senior leg-spinner Yasir Shah as a replacement for Shadab in the one-day series.
“Yasir has been named as replacement for upcoming one-day series and a Twenty20 international against England,” PCB Statement had said.
