“This win belongs to players and the support staff. They made it possible and made us all proud. They have made whole Downtown proud by defying odds that were stacked against them,” Hinan said.
Hinan lashed out at Sports Council Football Academy for being part of illegal process and supporting the activity that doesn’t fit under rules.
“This is open tournament for which any player can play for any team. But once team is registered it can’t be changed midway. Titans had played two matches and still went on wholesale team change in a match against us. We were playing our first match. We were shocked to see Titans turned into SFA team and it was Downtown vs SFA and not Titans, ” He said.
He requested Sports Council to look into the matter how thier team was playing for other team .
” We are not sure how Sports Council allowed it’s team to be part of this rule breaking process. We are hopefully Sports Council will start enquiry into this, ” He added.
