LocalFatigue takes toll on Manzoor Pandav, down with fever

Srinagar: From the moment, hard hitting batsman, Manzoor Dar (Pandav) of Bandipora was picked by Kings XI Punjab for their team in Indian Premier League (IPL) players auction, he has been busy with interviews, meetings and various related factors that have taken toll on his health.panda

The star cricketer today turned up for selection trial matches for Vijay Hazare One Day tournament. However, he could bowl only one over and went down. Upon checking he had  fever and officials had to call in doctor.

“Since he was taken up in auction for IPL he became overnight superstar. There are TV interviews in queue and various politicians want to meet him. He has been busy a lot and roaming from place to other without proper rest,” said official.

“Today he turned up for practice match but didn’t looked well. However, he insisted to play but couldn’t do much as he went down only after bowling one over. We had to call in Doctor in the field. Pandav was having fever and doctor advised him to take complete rest,” official said.

The official further said that during these days Pandav has not been allowed free space of even one hour.

“He has missed practice, he has missed rest as he couldn’t find free time for even one hour during these days. Hopefully he will take rest now and will be fully fit for our One day tournament,” he added.
