Srinagar, June 9: Jammu and Kashmir’s junior cricket duo of Rasikh Salam and Qamran Iqbal on Sunday made it to the India U-19 team for the upcoming Tri-series to be held in England.

Both of them were part of National Cricket Academy after doing well in the U-19 tournaments. Qamran has previously represented India U-19 while Rasikh made his away after IPL stint with Mumbai Indians.

The All-India Junior Selection Committee met in Surat to pick the India U19 team for the one-day Tri-series in England starting July 21, 2019. India will play the U19 sides of hosts England and Bangladesh in the tournament.

India U19 Squad for the tournament is as follows: Priyam Garg (C), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Thakur Tilak Verma, Divyansh Saxena, Shaswat Rawat, Dhruv Chand Jurel (WK), Shubhang Hegde, Ravi Bishnoi, Vidyadhar Patil, Sushant Mishra, Rasik Salam, Sameer Rizvi, Pragnesh Kanpillewar, Kamran Iqbal, Priyesh Patel (WK), Karan Lal, Purnank Tyagi, Anshul Khamboj
