Sopore, November 21: Food Cricket Club Sunday pipped Junior Star Palhallan to lift the Talent Hunt Knockout Tourney at Seer.

Earlier, batting first, FCC posted a not-so-impressive total of 124 runs on board. Mohammad Nadeem made fiery 14-ball 22 runs while for Palhallan, Maroof Hassan picked three wickets.

In reply, Palhallan lost a few too many wickets earlier on. However, opener Zubaid Wani continued to fight from one end. He made 54 runs in 43 balls. Lastly, they fell short by 15 runs, ending up making 109/9 in the allotted 20 overs.

Yasir and Nasir picked two wickets each for FCC.
