The first of its kind Snow Off Road Motor Competition for 4×4 cars concluded at Gulmarg today, with an impressive award distribution function, in the presence of MLA Gulmarg Mohd Abbas Wani, Director Tourism Mehmood Ahmad Shah, CEO Gulmarg Shafqat Iqbal, Ace Rally Drivers Amanpreet Ahluwalia & Sanjay Razdan, Ali Sajid Organiser and Founder of Kashmir Off-Road and members of organising team Tofail Khan,  Hashim Hameed and Kaiser Kawoosa. Tofail Khans firm CellAir Networks is the distributor of Oppo phones for Kashmir which was also the main sponsor of the event.Off Road 1
The first-of -its kind Off Road Snow Fest at Gulmarg  was a 2 day event titled as Oppo Frozen Rush and was flagged off on Saturday the 21st of January. A total of 38 participants took on the races to compete with each other.  In the event all the participants were supposed to cover the designated 2 kms track within the shortest period of time crossing all the hurdles and obstacles. The event was organized very efficiently with expert driving tips from Amanpreet Ahluwalia and Sanjay Razdan.
While speaking on the occasion Mohd Abass Wani thanked Ali Sajid and Tofail Khan for organizing such an event at Gulmarg which would definitely add to the tourism sector and give an extra edge to Gulmarg in the field of motor sports. He also added that he would always come forward for such events in future and provide all the help required.
Mehmood shah, while thanking the organizers said that he had come forward to support the event to promote such initiatives which can bring an addition in the tourism sports of Kashmir. He also praised the perfectly managed event and said that such events should keep happening in future also.off road winner Nabeel
Ali Sajid said that the endeavour was to bring like-minded individuals and build an off-road community in Kashmir. This was not just a race to compete for , but to build a platform for more organized Off-Roading as a preffered sports in Kashmir. He also thanked Amanpreet and Sanjay for their expert advices. He applauded the healthy response received from all locals and appreciated the support from JK Tourism, GDA and Oppo Camera Phones as the main sponsor,  and all co- sponsors that included The Khyber,  Shuhul Mahindra, Peaks Auto, Rockwool,  Greater Kashmir, 92.7 Big FM and Ace Hyundai Mobis.
Tofail Khan while speaking on the occasion said that he worked with the organising team for the event with an aim to promote the motoring sport in the valley and he said that only locals from J&K were allowed to participate in this first event so as to give the local enthusiasts a feel of Off-Road driving. He said that Oppo Camera phones are the widely in-demand smart phones in the valley and the company prefers to be close to the new-generation youth of the valley in terms of technology and providing support in such kind of innovative events.
The winner of Oppo Frozen Rush was Nabeel Anwar followed by Irshad Ahmad Sheikh, Sajad Sheikh  at 2nd and 3rd position. Also J&K Police Gulmarg did a trial run on track through their representing driver  Mushtaq Ahmad Magray who cleared the track in the fastest speed of 3 min 47 seconds, and was facilitated by a cash prize of 6000 by Tofail Khan.
The 3 winners were given cash prizes from and Oppo Camera Phones, including Male Grooming product hampers,  whereas the other top performers that followed were also given Oppo Camera Phones.
