Srinagar, Sep 17: In the ongoing Green Willow Inter Village cricket championship Palhallan 2020 Knight Hawks Yadipora defeated Crescent Goshbug by 23 runs on Thursday.
Batting first Earlier Knight Hawks Yadipora scored 186 for the loss of three wickets in allotted 20 overs. They had opening stand of 90 runs between Razaak who scored 64 and Showkat who scored 41. Hashim and Ishfaq scored 21 and 20 runs respectively. Arif took two wickets for Crescent Goshbug.
In reply , Crescent Goshbug had terrible start to their chase losing wickets in first over. Majid played a brilliant knock for them scoring 73 off 44 balls. However once he departed, other batsman failed to make any impact. They fell short off a target by 23 runs. Irfan took three wickets for Knight Hawks and was awarded man of the match.
