Srinagar, Sep 15: In the ongoing Green Willow Inter Village Cricket Championship Palhallan 2020, Valley Star Buran beat FCC Reshipora by 5 wickets in the match played on Tuesday.
Earlier FCC won the toss and decided to bat first. It turned out a bad call from captain as they lost wickets in quick succession hence managed to score only 108 all-out in 19.4 over . Irshad & Shahid scored 20 & 19 respectively for FCC. Firdous took 4 wickets for them while as Tariq , Mushtaq & Kaiser took 1 wicket each for VSB.
In reply VSB openers departed cheaply , but Tariq played a sensible knock of unbeaten 33 runs for the team. Danish contributed with unbeaten 21 runs. Valley Star won the match in 15 over. Farooq claimed 2 wickets for FCC.
Tariq was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round performance .
