Hamid Brothers clinch Big Bash trophy

Baramulla, December 04: Hamid Brothers Saturday beat Victoria Baramulla by 40 runs to life the Big Bash Trophy at GDC Ground, here.

Batting first, Hamid Brothers posted a good total of 182 runs on board. Shahnaz Nazir topped the batting table, scoring 37-ball 53 runs. For Victoria, Yasir picked two wickets.

In reply, Hashim and Basit provided Victoria a good start. However, quick wickets in the middle halted their chase. They, lastly, fell short by 40 runs. Hashim top-scored with 31 to his name while Tajamul also made 27. Muntazim and Sajid picked two wickets each for Hamid Brothers.

Shahnaz, for his fifty, was named player of the final.
