Bandipora, November 13: HK Cements Cricket Club Friday defeated Bandipora Cricket Club by 4 wickets to win the Elites T20 Cup, here at Adnan Park Watapora.
Ashraf Dar, who bowled an unplayable spell of bowling, led the way to victory for HK before Ishfaq and Imran sparkled with the bat.
Earlier, batting first, BCC managed to score a par total of 168 runs. Mudasir Malik struck fiery 67 runs while Raja Saleem contributed 45 runs to the total.
Ashraf, on the other hand, was the wrecker-in-chief, scalping four wickets by giving away mere 13 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
In reply, HK chased down the total in the 19th over, thanks to cameos by Ishfaq (44), Imran (32), and Umar (33).
Ashraf Dar, for his spell, was declared man of the match while as Nasir Lone won man of the tournament award.
The tournament was organised in the memory of Dr. Jamsheed Jamil Mir.
