Srinagar, July 2: Pakistan batting star and limited over format skipper Babar Azam has said he doesn’t care who the bowler is at the opposite end as he is always focussed on to play every ball at its merit.

Babar Azam said this on being questioned about his upcoming battle with England pacer Jofra Archer in the upcoming England-Pakistan series.

While talking to reporters via video-conference, the Babar Azam said he is focussed on to do well in the series.

“We are prepared for the series. I am on my plan and I know which kind of bowling will be up against me. I watch the bowl and doesn’t play by the name of the bowler,” Babar said in the conference.

“When you cross a century mark, you want to go and convert into a bigger one. This is something I wish to do during the test series,” he added.

On the occasion Babar said that England will have an advantage as they will play against Pakistan after competing with the West Indies .

“We are eagerly looking forward to play and focused on winning the series. They have the home advantage but our bowlers will give tough time to their fragile top-order. Mohammad Abbas has been playing here in counties and have experienced and Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah has full potential to shine. The expectations are high and I hope they will do well,” Azam went on to explain.

Pakistan arrived in England on Sunday and they are currenly training in Worcestershie as part of the 14-day quarantine period.
