Idrees Mushtaq takes 7 wickets as Bradman Sopore lifts Friends Cup

Sopore, November 1: Bradman Sopore on Wednesday beat Ashraaf Sopore in the final to lift the second edition of Friends Cup at MET Ground, here.

Earlier, batting first, Bradman got off to a tremendous start. Both openers Shakir Bhat and Asif scored in sixties, helping them post a good total of 173 runs on board. For Ashraaf, Sajad and Suhail picked two wickets each.

In reply, Ashraaf never looked in the game. They were bundled out for paltry 63 runs, handing Bradman a huge 110-run win. Idrees Mushtaq bowled an unreal spell, picking as many as 7 wickets in his 4 fours.

He was named player of the final for his bowling.
