Srinagar, June 11: Indian opener, Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the World Cup for three weeks following a thumb injury.

The southpaw injured his thumb in India’s second World Cup game against Australia. He scored a scintillating 117 runs in the match, helping India maintain the winning run in the tournament.

However, with reports claiming that he will have to sit out for at least three weeks, India would found themselves in trouble as Shikhar has been a vital part of team.
