Srinagar, August 20: J&K cricketer, Abdul Samad, Thursday left Jammu to travel to Dubai for the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).

The all-rounder, who is set to be a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise, will be the only J&K cricketer to feature in this year’s IPL.

Confirming his departure, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a picture of him at Jammu Airport across social media, captioning, “On his way ✈️ OrangeArmy #SRH | 📸: Abdul Samad”

Samad had an impressive domestic season for J&K with the bat. The right-handed batsman was the highest run-getter for his side in premiere Ranji Trophy. He will be hoping to continue his good touch in the IPL.
