Srinagar, September 26: The Department of Physical Education, Islamia College of Science and Commerce Hawal Srinagar, would be organising road race for boys and girls on October 2 and 9.

The event would be held under under the banner of, “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahatsov” commemorating the nations 75th Independence day.

The Road Race for Boys would start from Nishat Garden Crossing via Foreshore Road which would finish at Duck Park ForeShore Road Hazratbal, and for Girls the Road Race would start from Shalimar Ghat Crossing of Foreshore Road which would culminate at Duck Park Foreshore Road Hazratbal.

The College Department of Physical Education has asked the students who can Run minimum six kilometers (for Boys) and three kilometers Run (for Girls) who are interested to take part in the event can register their names with the Department of Physical Education before 28th (for boys) and 30th (for Girls) of Sept.2021.

Moreover, the College Physical Education Department is also going to organise a TUG OF WAR match between the Teaching and non-Teaching staff members which will be conducted on 28th of September (Tuesday) 2021 on college playfield at 12:30 pm.
