Cricket‘It doesn’t matter, players come and go’: Imad Wasim on Babar Azam leaving Karachi

Srinagar: Pakistan all rounder and Karachi Kings captain Imad Wasim has said that it doesnt matter to team who leaves as players come and go.

Imad Wasim was referring to Babar Azam leaving Karachi Kings for Peshawar Zalmi for the PSL 8.

“There is no doubt about Babar Azam’s abilities. It doesn’t matter to us, players come and go, but nothing is more important than the team; now he’s playing for a different team, so good luck to him, this time we want to go for aggressive cricket,” Imad Wasim was quoted by Cricket Pakistan.

“There is no regret for losing the leadership in the past; now that the responsibility has been given again, we will try to present a better game as a team,” he further said.

Meanwhile under Babar Azam’s captaincy, Karachi Kings won only one match out of their ten matches while as under Imad Wasim’s captaincy, Karachi Kings won the sixth edition of PSL.
