Srinagar, May 15: Former Pakistan veteran cricketer, Shahid Afridi, Friday said it doesn’t take a religious belief but a good heart to feel the agony of Kashmiris.
Kashmir has been a conflict-ridden area since decades, having taken many lives already. Anguished by the conditions of the Valley, which is often termed as paradise on earth, Afridi remarked that the place should be saved, referring to the gloom the territory has been going through.
“It does not take a religious belief to feel the agony of Kashmiris..just a right heart at the right place. #SaveKashmir” The former Pakistan captain Tweeted moments ago.
Afridi has spoken openly about Kashmir several times before as well, leading to backlash by some Indian cricketers, who weren’t happy with his comments.
