Srinagar, December 22: J&K Bank football club lifted the Christmas Gold Cup by defeating Hero Football Club Jammu in the final played at GGM Science College Ground Jammu on Sunday.
In the final J&K Bank Club defeated Hero Football Club by 1-0 goals.
The only goal of the match was scored by Gautam Mehra in 83rd minute of the game.
After being revived revived recently by Chairmain J&K Bank, the football teams of the Bank have resumed thier dominance of local football. Only in its first event they have emerged winner while as in another event held in Srinagar Bank FC won five out of five of its group matches to cruise into second round.
Vice President J&K Yudhvir Sethi, was the chief guest and distributed prizes. The tournament was organised by All J&K Christian Welfare Association.
