Srinagar, October 20: J&K Police football team defeated AG’s Office XI by 2-0 goals in the match of the ongoing Premier Division football league at Synthetic Turf TRC ground Srinagar on Tuesday, October 19.

The match started on a brisk note with both the teams trying to take the lead in the intial moments. They made attacks and counter attacks but could not find the net. The half ended goalless draw.

In second half, J&K Police dominated AG’s Office XI. In 47th minute Faisal of J&K Police scored all important goal for his team. After trailing one goal Ag’s players launched several counter attacks, but the goalkeeper of the Police team ensured no damage was done. The goalkeepers of the Police team made some excellent saves and received huge applause from the spectators.

In the dying moments Faisal of Police team doubled the lead by scoring another goal. When the Referee blew the whistle, the score line read 2:0 in favour of Police Team.
