Srinagar, Oct 5: J&K Cricket Association on Monday announced the 15 member J&K squad for the Ranji trophy event in which they will start their campaign against Kerala on October 6.

Surprisingly squad is again lead by Mithun Manhas who last year shifted from Delhi to J&K and was straight away made captain of J&K team replacing Parveez Rasool who did a tremendous job by lifting J&K from group C to group A.

Manhas failed to make an impact last year both with his batting and captaincy but still has been made Captain again this year.

Squad is good mixup but still many deserving players are missing. Samiullah Beigh and Adil Reshi are making comeback in the team after being dropped last year. Zahoor Sofi, Mohsin Mufti and Amir Sofi are the new faces in squad which may raise many eyebrows.
