Srinagar, August 08: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) Sunday held a flag hoisting ceremony at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, here.

The sub-committee members including Anil Gupta, Sunil Sethi and Mithun Manhas apart from Abdul Qayoom Bagaw, the CAC member, attended the ceremony.

“The Indian national flag and flags of JKCA and BCCI were hoisted in presence of young cricketers,” an official said.

The sub-committee also interacted with Sangam Cricket Club and representatives of Ganderbal cricket to discuss several things.

“We are following the J&K High Court’s order and meeting the district and club representatives to discuss development of cricket. We will meet all the stakeholders in coming days,” Anil Gupta said.

The members also held a meeting with JK Bank chairman regarding the financial and accounts related issues.

The sub-committee was recently formed by BCCI to look into the affairs of J&K cricket. Now, a few days back, they appointed a Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC).
