A half-century and a four-wicket-haul by Parvez Rasool and beautiful-shots-driven unbeaten knock by Adil Reshi were the two most impressive performances of the day in the ongoing JKCA Senior One-Day Cup at Srinagar on Sunday.

Other notable performances by batters included fifties by Asif Khan, Ishtiyaq Rasool, Umar Nissar, Suhail Sultan and Sufiyan Wani. In bowling department, Tahir Bhat, Kalyan Dorjey and Tauqeer Khan picked three wickets each.

At Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium-A, JKCA B3 defeated B2 by 7 wickets. Batting first, JKCA B2 scored 153 runs. Asif Khan top scored with 62 runs, while Abid Khan contributed 26 runs to the total. For JKCA B3, Tahir Bhat and Kalyan Dorje took 3 wickets each.

In reply, JKCA B3 chased the target by losing 3 wickets to win the match by 7 wickets. Adil Reshi top scored with unbeaten 95 runs, while Ishtiaq Ellahi contributed 34 runs. For B2, Nasir Lone took 1 wickket.
At Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium-B, JKCA B1 drubbed B5 in an easy contest by 5 wickets. Batting first, JKCA B5 scored 243 runs. Ishtiyaq Rasool top scored with 73 runs, while Umer Nisar contributed 65 runs to the total. For JKCA B1, skipper Parvez Rasool was the pick of the bowlers, who took 4 wickets, while Tauqueer claimed 3 wickets.

In reply, JKCA B1 chased the target easily by losing 5 wickets. Parvez Rasool played a brilliant innings of unbeaten 69 runs, while Sufiyan Wani contributed valuable 60 runs to the total. For B5, Amir Aziz and Mujtaba Rizvi took 2 wickets each.
