Talented middle-order batsman, Henan Malik, was at his butchering best as he scored a magnificent unbeaten century, sending the rival bowlers on a leather-hunt in his power-packed knock of 178 runs off just 125 balls, studded with 17 delectable boundaries and 6 massive sixes to guide his team to a resounding win in the ongoing JKCA Senior Men’s One-Day Tournament at Jammu.

The performances of Paras Sharma, Sidharth Bhat, Ankush Sharma, Suryansh Raina and Sunil Kumar and were also delight to watch on day-4 of the tournament on Tuesday.

At GGM Science College Hostel Ground Jammu, JKCA A5 defeated A3 by 6 wickets in an easy context. Batting first, JKCA A4 scored a fighting total of 251 runs. Ankush Sharma showed guts to score 53 runs, while skipper Suryansh Raina (48) and Sahil Lotra (38) were among the other major contributors. For JKCA A5, Sunil Kumar took 3 wickets, while Mohd Araf and Sunil Sharma claimed 2 wickets each.

In reply, JKCA A5 sailed on a spectacular innings of unbeaten 178 runs by Henan Malik and chased the target easily by losing 4 wickets. Abhinav Puri (28) and Sunil Kumar (21*) were the other contributors. Henan, in particular stole the show with a top class innings. For JKCA A4, Deepak Dogra and Akash Choudhary bagged 2 wickets each.

At Country Cricket Stadium Gharota, JKCA A3 defeated A2 by 29 runs. Earlier, put into bat, JKCA A3 scored 201 runs. Sidharth Bhat (48) and Yogesh Sikka (42) were the main scorers. Skipper Shubham Khajuria was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 5 wickets by conceding 29 runs. He hit good areas and was bang on target. Rohit Sharma and Adil took 2 wickets each.

In reply, JKCA A2 managed to score 173 runs to ose the match by 29 runs. Paras Sharma top scored with 50 runs, while Shubham Khajuria contributed 28 runs to the total. For JKCA A3, Jatin Wadhawan bagged 4 wickets, while Randayal, Balwinder and Ritik claimed 2 wickets each.
