Srinagar: On the occasion of International Mountain Day celebration at SKICC, J&K Mountaineering and Hiking Club (JKMHC) gave veteran adventure sports professional Naseer Mir life time achievement award.
Naseer recently retired from Government service as officer in-charge of the Adventure Sports Wing of the tourism department and is known as one of the greats of adventure in our State. Naseer had joined the tourism department in 1987 and after seeing his keen interest and expertise in adventure tourism, he was handed over the in charge of department’s dedicated adventure wing. Naseer received award from Secretary Tourism Farooq Ahmad Shah.
