Srinagar: Lone Star Kashmir FC emerged unbeaten in its away matches with a 0-0 draw against Delhi united at Ambedkar Stadium New Delhi on Thursday.
Kashmir FC has now played two away matches in Group-A, registering one win and one draw against Sudeva and United respectively.
In the match both teams were not able to score any goal and match ended 0-0 draw. With this draw Kashmir FC climbed on top of the Group-A. Team will now face same Delhi opponents on its home turf in Srinagar in home matches.
Kashmir FC mostly comprises of local players and includes no foreign footballer in its squad. In the group all teams have foreign players including Real Kashmir FC.
“Our philosophy is to nurture and work with local players and that is so far working for us. We were considered weak side in the group but now everything has changed,” Kashmir FC official said.
