Srinagar, November 21: Top level private football clubs of Kashmir have come in support of Real Kashmir FC as the J&K Bank is reluctant to allow it’s players to play in I-League this season for Real Kashmir FC.

Lone Star Kashmir FC, Hyderya Sports FC and Downtown Heroes FC have issued statements in support of the Real Kashmir FC and termed J&K Bank’s decision as illogical as by playing in I-League these players would be making J&K Bank proud.

“A very unfortunate news for these boys.
These boys playing for Real Kashmir have brought laurels to our state and have become the face of Real Kashmir Football Club. Bank for its own selfish acts is crushing the career of these players. Had Ishfaq Ahmad & Mehrajdin Wadoo not been allowed by J&K Police Football Team to play in bigger teams, who would know them today, ” Lone Star statement read.
“Some people from the same Bank lobby talk about development of football in the valley and this is what their real face is, ” It further said.
“Lonestar Kashmir FC is the pioneer in bringing I-league to Kashmir and this year have given two of our players Shakir Sheikh & Sowban Hilal to Real Kashmir FC for I-League.
We request people not to fall in the trap of people who make false claims of developing football, ” Lone Star statement added.

Downtown Heroes FC in a Tweet issued have also supported Real Kashmir FC.

“We believe for better gud of fotbal and welfare of players @JandKBank should allow these star players to play for @realkashmirfc in @ILeagueOfficial
By playing in @ILeagueOfficial they will be making whole Kmr & @jkbank proud, ” Downtown Heroes FC official handle Tweeted.

Hyderya Sports Federation have also urged J&K Bank to reconsider their decision and allow these players to play in India ‘s top league.

In a statement Hyderya Sports Federation said, ” For last two seasons they were allowed by the bank to play for the Real Kashmir FC, a Kashmir based club who has won the hearts of the people and they throng to watch their team playing whatever the situation would have been.”Adding that, “It were these players who have really played a sensational role in reviving the fan culture of football. This year these players are not allowed by the Bank management to be the part of RKFC, which could shatter the dreams of many inspiring players and football fans”.

The Hyderya Sports Federation said that the Football being the most popular sport in this part of the world, has produced good number of players and J&K Bank has played a pivotal role in it. “Being called the “Power House of Football” Bank has contributed either in providing employment to hundreds of footballers whose desire and ultimate aim was to play for this top club not only in the J&K, but in the northern India” , Hyderya Sports Federation said.Hyderya Sports Federation said, “We have seen an era of latest football which has given birth to young footballers like Danish,Farhan, Adnan,Nirdosh, Reshi Aakif and many more names from this power house. These players besides playing for the bank has been a real inspiration and motivation for the young kids to play football and stay away from anti-social habits. These players would have been an inseparable part of the Indian National Football Team, if they would have been provided an opportunity and platform where from they could have been spotted or noticed”.
