Mir Tariq emerged winner in the SP School MA Road cycle race held on Saturday. The race was flagged off by the Principal of the School, Reyaz Ahmad Sidiqui.
Mir Tariq emerged winner in the race while as Omer Aziz and Ameer Shafi finished second and third respectively.
Director School Education Kashmir Dr GN Itoo was chief guest at the concluding ceremony. He distributed prizes among the winners. CEO Srinagar Farooq Ahmad Dar, Dy CEO,DEPO and OSD at the Directorate GN Shakir were also present besides other dignitaries on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Director School Education, Dr GN Itoo appreciated the role played by the SP School administration and teachers in restoring order at the campus and hoped organizing such events will prove moral boosters for students, preparing them for meeting future challenges in the field of education.
He was all praise for students who participated in such events as part of their co-curricular activities. Directorate School Education announced a cash award of Rs5000 for the winners.
