The star pacer of Pakistan cricket Mohammad Amir has been declared fit and is likely to join Pakistan squad on Monday.

As per reports Mohammad Amir has been cleared by doctors and has already started training. Pakistan known sports journalist Saj Sadiq also tweeted about development.

“Mohammad Amir has been given the all-clear by the doctors. He has started training and if needed will re-join the Pakistan squad on Monday,” he tweeted.

Mohammad Amir was suffering with a suspected case of chicken pox and was undergoing treatment in London. The pacer has been off-colour following his match-winning performance in the Champions Trophy 2017 final against India, managing only five wickets in his last 14 international games.

Earlier there were reports that Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur, skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed and chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq have decided to include batsman Asif Ali and Mohammad Amir in the ICC Cricket World Cup squad.

Geo News while quoting sources said that it has been decided that to make way for these two, struggling all-rounder Faheem Ashraf and newly selected opener Abid Ali would be left out of the 15-member squad, which is set to be finalised before the May 23 deadline announced by the International Cricket Council.
