Srinagar, July 23: Pakistan premier pacer Mohammad Amir is set to join rest of the Pakistan in England after his repeated COVID-19 tests came out as negative. The repeated negative tests mean he is eligible to travel to England.

As per reports in Pakistan media along with Amir masseur Mohammad Imran will also be travelling to England after laters two tests also came negative. Currently both of them are in a bio-secure environment at a local hotel in Lahore.

The reports said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is now making arrangements for the travel of Amir and Imran and details will be released by the PCB in the near future.

Amir will join national squad for T20Is against England in place of Haris Rauf who had tested COVID-19 positive five times out of six. Wicket-keeper batsman Rohail Nazir will be released from the squad as soon as Amir joins.

Pakistan is scheduled to play three matches Test series against England from August 5. Green shirts will play three T20Is on August 28, 30 and September 1, respectively.
