Srinagar: Pakistan star all-rounder Shadab Khan has termed Pakistan’s last over thrilling win over England in fourth T20I as heart stopping encounter.

On Sunday Pakistan edged out the visitors by just 3 runs to level the series 2-2.

Shadab after the game took to Twitter and wrote, “Watching the match from outside the field is tougher. My heart would have stopped. What a match it was.”

“Bahir bhet ker dekhna zyada mushkil hai. Mera dil band ho jana tha. Kya kamal match tha. @AasifAli45 ke chakkay, @MHasnainPak ka new ball spell, @IftiAhmed221 bhai ki offspin, @mnawaz94 ka jigra, @Wasim_Jnr ka spirit aur @HarisRauf14 love u ho gaya. Team effort,” Shadab Khan Tweeted.

The game had many ups and downs, with England close to winning and taking a 3-1 lead. But Haris Rauf’s 19th over turned the game as he bagged two wickets in two balls while Reece Topley was run out in the final over, which led the home side to win by three runs and level the series 2-2.

Shadab also lauded teammates Asif Ali, pacer Mohammad Hasnain, spinner Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr, and pacer Haris Rauf for their efforts in helping Pakistan win the match.

Pakistan will now face England in the fifth T20I on Wednesday as the action now moves to Lahore for the remaining three matches of the series.
