Two Archers of J&K bagged medals in the Indoor National Field Archery Championship at held at Mumbai Maharashtra from April 12 to 15.
The championship was organized by Field Archery Association of India in collaboration with Mayor;s Office Mumbai and in it around 700 archers from all over India participated.
From the J&K state two archers Muhammad Sufiyaan Bhat a student of ITI Srinagar and Mudasir Ahmad Bhat of BHSS Palpora participated.
Both came back with flying colors bagging medals for the State. Sufiyan bagged silver medal while as Mudasir bagged bronze.
They bagged medals in bare bow men’s category in which 80 archers from other parts of Country were participating.
Meanwhile Field Archery Association of Jammu & Kashmir has congratulated its players for their brilliant performance in the national championship. The team was sponsored by Department of Tourism Kashmir
Field Archery Association is treying to develop sport in Kashmir and last year trained around 458 students of different renowned Institutes in the field Archery like Green valley, Hattrick School, Minto Circle, RP School Srinagar and National innovations School Shopian, said Association General Secretary Rouf Ahmad Khan.
