Srinagar, October 22: Star Palhallan Blues cruised their way into the semifinal of the ongoing Noor Din Memorial Cup Palhallan on Thursday.
Star Palhallan Blues defeated Marshall CC Pulwama by 7 wickets.
Earlier Marshall CC Pulwama won the toss & decided to bat first. Marshall CC Pulwama were able to score only 140 runs for the loss of loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Faizan with 31 runs was highest scorer for them while as Aamir added 30 runs and Yawar chipped in with 16 runs. From bowling side Mudasir, Tariq and Arif took 2 wickets each while as Raja Saleem took 1 wicket.
In reply Star Palhallan Blues chased the said target of 140 runs in 15 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. For them Raja Saleem scored 36 runs, while as Yousuf scored unbeaten 32 runs & also Sofi Altaf chipped 21 runs.
Mudasir was awarded man of the match for his all round performance.
