Srinagar, Oct 13: In the ongoing Noor Din Memorial Cup Palhallan one match was okayed on Tuesday with KCC Kupwara defeated United Cricket Club Palhallan by 13 runs.
Earlier KCC Kupwara won the and elected to bat first. They posted a big total of 181 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in alloted 20 overs.
Amir lefty with 50, Junaid with 45 runs & Ishfaq with 29 runs were highest scorers for them while as Maroof Hassan took 3 wickets for United Club. Aqib Altaf & Irshad took 1 wickets each.
In reply United CC Palhallan failed to chase the said target of 181. They were able to score only 168 runs thus lost match by 13 runs.
Altaf with 47, Saleem with 17 and Asif & with 19 runs were highest scorers for them.
Amir took Hat-trick for Kupwara side while as Abrar took 2 wickets. Shakir claimed one wicket.
Later Aamir was awarded man of the match for his all-round performance in which he scored half century & took a Hat-trick.
