Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has responded to the comment made by former Team India legend Sunil Gavaskar in a hilarious way by saying anything is possible.
Gavaskar while reacting to Akhtar’s proposal of holding India – Pakistan ODI series for relief had sarcasticly said that chances of Snowfall in Lahore are more than an India Pakistan cricket series.
Recating to that Shoaib Akhtar on Wednesday tweeted a picture of snow-laden streets to prove his point.
Akhtar, in his own inimitable style posted a picture along with Gavaskar’s comment with the following caption:
“Well Sunny bhai, we did have a snowfall in Lahore last year 🙂 So nothing is impossible.”
Earlier, Gavaskar had said that an India-Pakistan bilateral series seems unlikely now, despite Shoaib Akhtar’s recent proposal for one.
Sunil Gavaskar said that there are more chances of snowfall in Lahore than a bilateral series between arch-rivals India and Pakistan in near future. Gavaskar said this while speaking to former Pakistan batsman Rameez Raja on his youtube channel.
Sunil Gavaskar’s comments came after Shoaib Akhtar proposed a 3-match ODI series between India and Pakistan for raising funds for Covid-19 relief.
“There are more chances of snowfall in Lahore than bilateral series between India and Pakistan, ” Gavaskar said.
