Srinagar, August 04: Pakistan Cricket Team Tuesday announced its 15-member squad for the first Test against England.
Led by Azhar Ali, the team comprises of names like Sarfaraz Ahmed, Kashif Bhatti and Sohail Khan, who weren’t expected to make a move.
Known for their fast-bowling strength, the Misbah-ul-Haq-led management named as many as four fast bowlers in the squad. The spinner-duo of Shadab Khan and Yasir Shah also made a cut.
Fawad Alam, who is making his national comeback, has also been included in the team, however, it would be interesting to see whether he gets a berth in the first XI or not.
The Pakistan team had arrived in England a long ago to complete the bio-bubble instructions. They are now set to face hosts, England tomorrow at Old Trafford in their first post-covid international outing.
England just finished the West Indies Test series, winning it 2-1.
