Srinagar, December 9: Star striker Aakif Reshi scored twice to help J&K Bank beat Food and Supplies XI 4-0 in the match of the Premier League J&K at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground here on Wednesday.
It was total dominance from J&K Bank FC in first half as they went on to score back to back four goals. Playing it’s first competitive match since being revived after Covid-19 pandemic halt in summer, J&K Bank were in no mood to allow it’s opponents to get into any kind of of rythm.
Waris opened score for Bank by scoring first goal of the match. After that it was Aakif Reshi who went on to score two goals to make it 3-0 for Bank. Goutam scored fourth goal just before halftime to make it 4-0 in favour of J&K Bank.
In the second half no goal was scored and Bank FC emerged winner by 4-0 goals.
